FREE for Residents!

The Junction is a public library filled with board games set up in the garage of 59 Junction Road (the black box house). Waiheke residents can borrow anything from this collection at no cost - all we ask is that you leave a deposit. When you return the game (in decent condition) you get 100% of your deposit back and can do it all over and over again. You now have 600 games and Dungeons & Dragons books at your finger tips - free of charge!

$50 Cash Deposit

To borrow a game from The Junction we ask that you leave a $50 CASH DEPOSIT that would help us to buy another copy if it was lost or destroyed. We’re doing our best to make the library accessible to everyone, but modern day board games are surprisingly expensive to buy and ship here. Return the game and get your deposit back in full.

NOTE: Some of the newer, more expensive games may require a larger deposit.

Open *most* Sundays

The Junction is part of our family home - so hours may be irregular. We plan to be open most Sundays when the weather is meh, but be sure to check back here about specific dates/times:

  • Sun, Nov 02 : 11am to 1pm

  • Sun, Nov 09 : 11am to 1pm

  • Sun, Nov 16 : 11am to 1pm

  • Sun, Nov 23 : 11am to 1pm

  • Sun, Nov 30 : 11am to 1pm
